FREE IR Spanish Speaking Activity with Locations

I'm always trying to find ways to get my students speaking Spanish in class as much as possible to practice what they are learning.  I like to create activities that create structure and repetition to practice, practice practice.  Here is my newest creation (updated from a much lamer version :)).  Click on the image to download this speaking activity totally free!

A Math Foldable Idea

My students just finished learning about quadratic functions in standard form and vertex form and how to graph them from both forms.  To review, they put on their "creative thinking caps" and came up with these great shutter fold comparison projects (with some directions from the teacher of course...:)).

The OUTSIDE COVERS (Folded)

THE INSIDES (Opened up)

Students needed to explain each form of a quadratic, standard and vertex, and how to graph a function in each form.  Then they needed to show two examples of  functions being graphed from each form.
The materials on hand were.... 11x17 in. white paper (to create the shutter fold), colored paper, graph paper, markers, crayons, glue and of course their brilliant minds!  I think they turned out great and I can't wait to decorate my classroom with these!
